Obedience Training

By Kristina Cabral November 2, 2017

Bringing a puppy into your home sounds and looks SO cute! Then you bring this little puppy into the home and now you have so many decisions to make, just like a baby. Veterinarian care, crate or no crate, pee-pee pads, no pee-pee pads and the FOOD!! There are so many options; sometimes it can be so overwhelming.  But with the opinions and referrals of friends, family and Google searches, this can be accomplished. But the one thing not often brought up is obedience training.

Obedience training can be a game changer. I know it was for our family. We were a lucky family to see the post for a beautiful 3 year old Weimaraner looking for a forever home.  It was truly love upon first sight. He was our newest family member.  Soon after bringing  him home we found little behaviors that we were unsure of and decided that we needed to reach out for some basic assistance. And this is how we found Fala Woods Canine. Jon, is a no nonsense trainer, he believes that the basic communication skills that most dogs lack, (because they have not been taught) are the primary reason why dogs become “problem dogs”.  Our Harley learned his basic skills and now, I have confidence that I can leave him out when friends or family come over and I won’t have that jumping, food stealing, running out the door dog. We have a calm, respectful young male whom I am very proud of.

If you are interested in adopting, purchasing, or already have a dog, that you believe needs some obedience, Fala Woods Canine is AMAZING! Give him a call today and tell him Macaroni Kid Okeechobee sent you!
